Aztecat
Chartanga or Jade as she is
known is a Seal Tabby point Siamese and
is now sixteen years old. She is great
great great grandmother to many of my
girls and was always a wonderful mother
to her kittens. She used to give birth
quickly and quietly with the minimum of
fuss, I have never lived down the fact
that she once gave birth to three kittens
under the Christmas tree whilst I was
having a telephone conversation!! She
leads a very quiet life now, potters
around taking her time, but is not
averse to giving the odd kitten a firm
cuff around the ears if it pulls her tail
once too often!!
Darling Apple Blossom was the first
Tortie Point that I ever owned. Until I
saw her I really did not like torties and
had decided that I only ever would
breed red and cream points. When I saw
Blossie for the first time I just fell in love
with her as her ear markings make her
look frayed around the edges and VERY
appealing. Every one of my titled cats
has Blossom in their pedigree, she is one
of those special cats that no matter who
they are mated to will produce typy
kittens every time. She is now a fat,
happy neuter.
Meet my beloved Marigold or as she is
officially known Champion Darling
Marigold. When she was a kitten
Marigold was very typy and was never
beaten in her kitten show career.
However, when she reached adulthood
she decided to try and turn herself into
Burmese type and it took several shows
for her to gain her title. As soon as she
did, I retired her for what I thought were
going to be maternal duties, how wrong
could I be. Marigold visited lots of stud
cats which she thoroughly enjoyed but
never had a single kitten. The vet
decided she must have a hormonal
problem. She has what could be politely
described as a forceful personality, is
most definitely 'top cat' and I adore her.
She is the most talkative cat I have ever
owned and has the habit of carrying a toy
worm around the house in her mouth
whilst whirring and purring happily.
Tizzy is the Mother of Grand Champion
Summerdown Cream Pasha and
Champion Summerdown Spun Gold. Like
the other cats on this page Tizzy
(Summerdown Cream Breeze) is a very
happy contented neutered lady. She
prefers to live with my stud cat (Cream
Blaze) whom she rules with an iron paw.
She is very much a one person cat (me)
and to this day has not forgotten the time
she had to spend in my friend's cattery
when we had renovations carried out and
will refuse to go anywhere near my poor
friend when she visits which is very
ungracious of her as she received the
very best of loving care during her time in
the cattery!!
